The Advantage Engine is an internal competitive intelligence and content generation platform built for the PropSec ecosystem. It combines four integrated tools into a single React application, powered by 26 Supabase Edge Functions.

Advantage Engine — Submit any competitor SaaS URL and the system scrapes it with Firecrawl, analyses it with Gemini AI, and returns structured insights categorised as Quick Wins, Strategic Opportunities, or areas to Explore Further. Analysis covers strategy, UX/UI, product capabilities, and performance.

Site Scaler — Scores the PropSec website against competitors across 8 weighted categories (UX Design, UI Design, Performance, Visual Aesthetics, Typography, Colour System, Trust & Conversion, Content & Copy) for a max score of 100. Generates specific improvement action items with impact scores.

Forge — Content generation engine using a semantic card architecture with 12 card types. Creates compliance kits, lead magnets, checklists, presentations, social cards, and email sequences. Each product type follows the PropSec Forge design system with topic-specific accent colours.

Ideas Vault — AI-enhanced idea capture that scores submissions across five dimensions: Market Demand, Feasibility, Revenue Potential, Competitive Edge, and Compliance Alignment.

Architecture

Built on React 18 + TypeScript + Vite with a Supabase backend (PostgreSQL, Auth, Row-Level Security, Edge Functions). AI processing uses Gemini 2.5 Flash via OpenRouter and Anthropic Claude for prompt refinement. Export pipeline handles PDF generation, PowerPoint creation, and social card rendering.
