PropSec Scaler is a competitive intelligence engine that answers one question: “What should we build next?” Unlike the Advantage Engine’s website-level analysis, Scaler analyses product capabilities across competitors to discover feature gaps and generate a prioritised backlog with strategic scoring.

The Pipeline

A six-phase methodology: Discover a competitor → Gather intelligence across 6 channels (features, changelogs, reviews, pricing, jobs, social) → Extract capabilities into structured feature cards → Analyse gaps against PropSec’s feature matrix → Generate prioritised backlog items → Strategise via the automated intelligence engine.

Strategic Priority Score (SPS)

Proprietary algorithm scoring every backlog item on a weighted formula:

• Impact (35%) — market demand × competitive urgency × revenue potential
• Convergence (25%) — pressure from multiple competitors building the same feature
• Effort Efficiency (25%) — implementation feasibility relative to value
• AI Amplification (15%) — how much AI can transform the feature beyond what competitors offer

The Intelligence page surfaces the top 3 “Build Next” recommendations, convergence alerts, AI opportunity windows, and competitive moat analysis.

Dual Interface

Scaler runs both as a web dashboard and as Claude Code skills — analysis can be triggered from the CLI with /scaler:analyze, and results flow into the same Neon Postgres database to appear on both interfaces. 30+ competitors tracked in the registry, prioritised by strategic value.
